Ferguson Petit Gris TE-20 - wip

December 6, 2022Step 3: I stumbled over the first hurdle: Parts B4 and B5 have to be gloed somewhere in the middle. On step 4 it is missing. I can't see, how and where it should be located exactly. So take a look to the next side, step 10: there it is shown in place.2
December 7, 2022Step 21/22: Only a hint: be careful by gluing the axle halfes together, if you want to have the wheels turnable. This middle thing (#D2) has good contact to the outer parts (D12/D13/D14/D15)3
December 6, 2022First steps are done4
December 6, 2022Step 23/24: The location of the break rod is missprinted. That hole is to deep. It should be the double-hole a little bit to the right. On the next picture you can see the right position.5
December 6, 2022Here the right position.6
December 6, 2022Step 30-32: Just a hint: if you take a look on the parts B18 and B19 in step 30: don't be confused: non of it has those "foot rest" (I call them). In step 30 only B18 has it, in step 31 and 32 both have those "foot rests". Click to the next picture to see the truth 😉7
December 6, 2022Parts B18 and B19 clearly plain. They are the two rods near to the seat.8
December 6, 2022Next step: the steering things for the front axle.9
December 6, 2022A friend told me, that the hood is not movable. Here is the problem clearly to see. The radiator doesn't slide through the sidewalls. This will be changed.10
December 7, 2022Step 33/35: There is also an issue with this longitudinal braces: step 33 shows part #D19. On the sprue it is #16, In step 35 part #16, on the sprue it is part #19. (Note the holes). Also, it is not that clear, that there is an inner and outer side. Next picture....11
December 7, 2022The inner side hase those nipple to fix to the transmission. Here something more to get confused: this braces of step 35 now has no holes. In fact, they should be on the drivers side. I don't really know why. I couldn't figure out a part which will be located there.12
December 7, 2022Here you can see, what I milled out on the inside of the hood.13
December 7, 2022Furtheron I sanded the lower points of the braket for the cooler down to the minimum, to get the hood some more space.14
December 7, 2022The result is, that the hood now can be openend and it will stay open 🙂15
December 7, 2022Step 25: Then there is an option, to put a kind of a hitch to the rear lower end of the rear axle body. For this, you have to drill holes.16
December 7, 2022The problem is: they are marked on the inside. Up to this step, there was no information for that option. Solution: get rid of the nipples17
December 8, 2022Then I made the bolts new (longer), to melt them down to a rivet to have the rods movable. That makes the front wheels turnable (side by side - not together)18
December 8, 2022Chassis is nearly done. Steering wheel, stick shift and this things at the rear (to mount additional / multiple gadgets for agricultural work) to complete.
But first I want to paint the whole little grey 😄19
December 13, 2022Here again, I cut of nipples, drilled some holes and made all this movable.20
December 13, 2022Glued in a pair of pivot points21
December 13, 2022...but it can't be moved because of the mounted / fixed point. It would be possible if that thing were horizontally movable.22
December 16, 2022It's almost not to see: it is painted. Semigloss grey.23
December 19, 2022A little weathering and I'm done.24
