I chose this Special Hobby F-86K kit to build a F-86L because it already has the correct 6-3' long wing. The F-86K has an 8 inch fuselage extension forward of the wing, which equates to approx .1666 in or 4.25 mm. I will have to determine where to modify the nose, remove 8 scale inches (if necessary), fill & file gun ports, scribe rocket tray and add SAGE antenna on bottom of fuselage. Still looking for NH Air Guard decals.
