For all interested in this one... Get 1/24 Revell Huey, don't waste your time for 1/18 HB. This is toy that was put into model box, nothing more.

Yeah, ex-21st Century Toys prebuilts that have just been re-popped and sold as kit looking at the parts breakdowns..

Indeed. It's 21stCT product. Same as F-86 and Me-262. FW-190 too but is better than the others. 1/18 UH-1 is very big and cheap and those are it's only advantages.

After watching the reviews online, Hobby Boss should be ashamed of themselves. The parts count is way to low for a model this big. The details are garbage, either too big and out of scale and toy-like or completely missing. The rockets look terrible... there are no 60mm guns, no figures are included. The grenade launcher in the front looks like a tumor. The seats, doors and instrument panels have no detail at all... the clear parts look like they where sand blasted. One set of markings is all you get. It boggles the mind how badly HB dropped the ball on such an iconic helicopter as the Huey. There are no after market parts as this a new kit, but even then I don't think they would make it look much better. If you're a good scratch builder you might be able to make this kit look good and I will sing your praises. The size of this kit is impressive at almost 3 feet long but the size of the price tag and the overall quality are equally disappointing. I was very interested in this kit at first... glad I did my research. Hard pass... you cant put enough lipstick on this "PIG"
