Pavla‘s IP with kit decals and lots of setting and softening solution...
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/2/3/6/899236-10028-43-720.jpg)
Quite good result for a first try of a spontaneous idea. What do you think?
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/2/3/7/899237-10028-28-720.jpg)
Cockpit finished
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/2/3/8/899238-10028-47-720.jpg)
Not much will be seen once the fuselage is closed
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/2/3/9/899239-10028-55-720.jpg)
Caution: Seats are too high. Either you leave the sliding canopy open or you reduce the seat‘s height significantly

![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/2/4/5/899245-10028-44-720.jpg)
Quite delicate surgery if you want to replace the front wheel, but ... eeh, wait a second ...
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/2/4/4/899244-10028-67-720.jpg)
Something seems to be wrong here ... (compared to Warpaint drawings)
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/2/4/3/899243-10028-81-720.jpg)
Kit part seems better and no surgery needed anymore - this was an easy decision
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/2/4/6/899246-10028-78-720.jpg)
Closed that coffins 🙂

Operation wing tip position lights will begin
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/7/3/0/903730-10028-85-720.jpg)
à 90° corner has to be cut out of the tip tank tip
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/5/3/0/908530-10028-98-720.jpg)
Corners for position lights have been cut out
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/3/1/908531-10028-64-720.jpg)
Give it some “Blufixx” (similar to “Bondic”) liquid transparent glue/filler (staged photo with cap in order to save highly liquid material)
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/5/3/2/908532-10028-18-720.jpg)
For hardening, a special U/V led lamp is provided with the glue
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/7/6/5/908765-10028-78-720.jpg)
Applies some Tamiya clear red and green ...
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/7/6/6/908766-10028-20-720.jpg)
I would call it successful. In case you wonder: The other, inner half of the tip cap will become black
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/7/0/9/1422709-10028-44-720.jpg)

@David Taylor, I know. Unfortunately Warpaint only has drawings of T.3 and 4 with retracted gear. But I assume that they have the same tire size.

@Keith: You say that one should avoid the dayglo decals. What's wrong with them?

@Felix: They worked great on the flat surfaces, but are very thick and brittle. I tried every trick I knew but never got them soft enough to bend/conform to the leading edge of the wing. Instead they cracked into small pieces, and color was near impossible to match.

@Keith: Thanks for your warning. Luckily, I have two sheets. I'll try my best with all the chemicals I have.

Never seen the Blufix stuff myself, but watch out whether it doesn't dry inside the box. See my Rocket UV Glue adventure with Caravelle:
