Jet Provost T.3 double build
Obligatory box shot
Painting the seats
Pavla‘s IP with kit decals and lots of setting and softening solution...
Quite good result for a first try of a spontaneous idea. What do you think?
Cockpit finished
Not much will be seen once the fuselage is closed
Caution: Seats are too high. Either you leave the sliding canopy open or you reduce the seat‘s height significantly
Quite delicate surgery if you want to replace the front wheel, but ... eeh, wait a second ...
Something seems to be wrong here ... (compared to Warpaint drawings)
Kit part seems better and no surgery needed anymore - this was an easy decision
Closed that coffins 🙂
Operation wing tip position lights will begin
à 90° corner has to be cut out of the tip tank tip
Corners for position lights have been cut out
Give it some “Blufixx” (similar to “Bondic”) liquid transparent glue/filler (staged photo with cap in order to save highly liquid material)
For hardening, a special U/V led lamp is provided with the glue
Applies some Tamiya clear red and green ...
I would call it successful. In case you wonder: The other, inner half of the tip cap will become black
Almost 2 years no progress ?? Now finally the canopy parts are closed
