Modify B-52H (stbd wing, fwd fuselage, tail, engines) into NB-52B using Contrails conversion and Cutting Edge decals. Add Dragon Wings X-15, either mounted to the wing pylon or on a dolly on the ground.

Cool project. I have a 1/72 model of "Balls 8" carrying the X-15.

Hey Clifford! Good to have you on board for this one, even if only in 1/144 scale. I can't wait to see the detail you will do in 1/72. Hmm, I remember an old Scale Modeler magazine where someone merged the Monogram B-52D with a Revell X-15 and scratched the wing pylon and other details. If I find it, I will send it along to you. Yes, it is the Monogram kit, I think it was orginally released in their young Astronaut series. Very expensive now days. I have been eyeing the 1/144 B-52's how are they?.
