There are some more guys building very promising ship models I got a lot of inspiration from watching their progress the last few weeks.
As I want to clean up my workbench in preparation for a much bigger project hopefully starting in summer I found the mood to go on with my build of HMS Indefatigable.
I´m still looking at the very good details pictures in my reference books for adding more details to the supertructure vertical surfaces. But at on point I have to go on assembling and building up the upper deck levels. Before I could do that I had to paint the inner walls of the forward and aft superstructure. Next step was to glue some of the secondary guns into position and attach the next deck level onto it.
Then I could assemble the tripod forward mast and attach its plattforms. The brige level is supported by some vertical bars. The provided PE parts didn´t satisfy me and I build them from Evergreen with bracing from 0,1mm wire.
I simulated the clamps on the middle superstructure by gluing very little pie
