Armourfast 99029 1/72 StuIG 33B - Whole kit sprue (1 of 2 in box)

Drivers port replaced. 

First dry fit... 

...and that is a pretty good fit to start with! 

Shim of plastic card added to support Armourfast gun assembly. 

Armourfast gun assembly tidied up and fitted. 

Saved an RBM metal barrel for something else! 

Gun compartment re-fitted to align gun assembly 

Rear storage from Armourfast a tiny bit wider than Trumpeter upper hull, so new support struts added inboard just a little. 

After the 'Potters Wheel'! 

Detail added to front glacis plate and front tow hooks modified. 

Don't hate me because I am 'clean'! 

Just a very light dusting of grey weathering powder to bring out the detail. 

Okay, so I retained the circular sighting unit cover (personally I think the ellipse on the real thing is a shadow!) 

That is some mg...more a 20mm cannon! Oh well.
