Album info

This is a goody added to the Anigrand PBM Mariner kit in 1:144.
It represents either a F7F-1 or an early F7F-3. Decals are provided for the prototype (unfortunately the spinner is not in the kit) or for a marine Corps dash 3.
Quite some work would be required to add missing details such as the guns, exhausts, oil cooler doors, ventral fin and bumper. I left them out as I already spent too much time. I corrected however the wrong shape of the aft engine nacelles and scratched most of the front landing gear and not to forget the vacforemd canopy which required adding some scratch building in the cockpit area.
