There is a fake red one in my district at one of the little lemon lots and the guy is wanting 40K for it, I just laughed uncontrollably at him !

I like your ideas and builts in this collection. To built the model kits after a real car. Doesn't matter whether it is a "special car" or just stock.

But for the Porsche i don't understand you: why don't you take a type 964 (C2) by Fujimi or Italeri instead the G-Model by Revell? In my point of view it's not worth it to correct all the things on the Revell kit when the correct 911 turbo is available, especially because Italeri brought out a reissue of it in 2012 (Porsche 911 Turbo (Italeri 3675, 1:24)).

3675

I like it ! Don't know anything about Porsche really, honestly they all look the same to me, I know I'll get some flak form that from the purist, but it's just one I had in the stash, What year Model was the 911 in the Movie ?

The optical main different of the two Porsche by the movie are the bumpers and the rear view mirrors. Under the hood the 964 (Italeri kit) was the first 911 available with all wheel drive.

The kit of the Revell Porsche is the predecessor of the Porsche by Italeri.
The Porsche of the movie (964) was produced 1989-1994😉

I don't know much about the details of the 911 family. Just basics.

I had this one earmarked for the Project, Think this is from that time frame.

Yes, Bob. It's a 964 based Porsche. Only the rear wing and separate lights in the bumper are different. The rear wind could fit from the Revell 911. For the 964 the sides of the wing (this rubber part) is larger / higher. I could check the measures of the 964 Turbo. So you could compare it with the Revell Turbo.

I'll Just pick up this kit,and save the Revell for future endeavors.
