Ich muss mal mehr Bilder hochladen. Ich bin auf die Männerhöhle 😄 auch stolz. Mein Reich, wo ich mich zurückziehen kann. Zwar ohne Heizung, aber was ist das denn schon - gibt doch Decken😉

Da kannst du auch stolz drauf sein. Meine Männerhöhle ist gleichzeitig mein Büro, wo ich alles kombiniere.
Wäre schön, wenn ich meine fertigen Modelle auch so präsentieren könnte 🙁. Aber ich arbeite an einer Lösung😢

Tja, wenn man das suchen nach Vorbildfotos für zukünftige Projekte, welche irgendwann mal auf dem Tisch landen sollen, arbeiten nennen kann?😢. Und eine Drehung mit dem Stuhl, und ich bin in der Lackiererei. Bin also ganz zufrieden.

@Andy ... Ich auch! Meine Lackierbox steht hinter mir. Aber als Spraydosenkind lackiere ich die meiste Zeit auf der Terasse😉

@John ... Thank you for your comment! It's the first time in my life that I have such a large room for my hobby. After my divorce I had a room for it the first time. With the move to our new home (with my fiancée) I had the luck to get this extra room for my hobby. So our house itself has no hint to the hobby (no shelf anywhere, no model kit in any room). Everything is in this room and it's good as it is.

Beim Klarlack greif ich auch noch zur Dose. Sonst wird alles mit der Airbrush lackiert. Allein die Effekte die man damit erzielen kann sind der Hammer. Sehr zu empfehlen, und einmal probiert, willst du nicht mehr ohne😉

So. In Juli 2021 we had a flood in the area Ahrweiler / Euskirchen. I live in between of it so our basement was flooded too. I had to rearange the man's cave again. All the wooden furniture (except the two small drawers and the desk) and cabinets are gone because of the water demage. The carpet is gone and I only have steel shelfs now. No cabinets and no shelfs to show the built model kits. So far.

Btw, it is possible to try make the Ikea Detolf cabinets dust proof (or, it helps alot). One can buy black colored anti draft tape of 4 mm height (mine is 4mm it seems). This tape looks like a brush, and has a self adhesive on the backside.

Album info

The man's cave. I think, everybody has one. I'll upload some pictures from time to time.

To be honest: it changed due a water accident (flood) in 2016. I rearanged the room. Should upload some Pictures soon.

I made another Album with ramdom pictures of already built model kits. Kits, where I'm not having an extra Album. Maybe, why I'm to lazy or I haven't enough pictures so far.

In October 2019 I rearranged my man's cave 😄
In Juli 2021 I was forced to rearrange it again - a flood "visited" our basement 🙁 38 model kits are effected as well as 9 built kits.
