Album info

This is a detailed rebuilt of my own Beetle - ED. It's a 1500 semiautomatic. The challeng is, that Revell doesn't offer exactly the same type of Beetle. So basically I took the 1968 Beetle (#07083) and used the Beetle Cabriolet (#07078) for different parts.
To name some differents between the kit an ED:
- the trunk has this ventilation slots
- the front fenders are different
- the rear lights are different
- the bumpers
- the rims (EMPI 8 Spoke)
- the engine hood this 2 pack à 10 slots for ventilation
- 1500 cc engine
- semiautomatic and therefor a lot of other cables and tubes in the engine compartment
- the semitrailing arm rear axle
- pockets in the door panels
- ashtrays in the rear side panels
- the rear luggage compartment
- some more knobs on the dashboard
- rear ventilation windows

A lot of to change. All the body parts (rear lights, bumpers) are used by the Cabriolet kit. Also the Cabriolet kit offers the door pockets and ashtray. Everything else was hand build.
