The goal I'm aming for
The color
the seat pattern
The kits, who are planned to built. The right on needs a regular suspension, the left one only needs no snowplow anymore.
So I'm asorting the parts. The Chevy stepside changes the whole suspension with the GMC.
Two identically suspensions are the result.
With some painting. The result after two days.
Bodyparts are primered. The beds underside is already painted in it's original color: medium blue (Hawaiian Blue WA5190)

First layer of clear cote is done
The chassis are done so far. Now I'm working on the inner brake thing where the wheel pins have to be.
I don't know, which grille looks better. The stock one (upper) or my modified one (lower)

The interior is painted. Hopefully it works out with the self-made decals. And the lights for the roof are in there mold (right bottom corner) ..... Ups. Green instead of blue.
First fitting test
The lights on top of the roof are done (one set of cause 😉 )

Finished the grilles - except the cool red GMC letters.
The lights are ready for paint.
The upholstery is on the benches. After they are dried, I have to cut them in shape and paint the rest of the edges and borders.

The interiors are done.
First test sitting on the chassis with the wheels glued in place and with the new width.
Instead of painting silver on the inner side of the rear light I built reflectors. So I get more depth to the lights.
The beds are done too.
The cabins are done so far. The next step is to get the parts onto the chassis.
Finally the bumpers are ready for paint
The lights on the roof are mounted. The rear view mirror are parted together and waiting for to be mounted.

The twins are done 🙂 🙂 After a little painting issue with the rear bumper of one, both are fine today. The only little thing: the license plate.

-> no highroller
-> no snowplow 😉
-> no stepside
...a pretty, stock pickup in blue I'll name it.
