Album info

I like the youtube channel "Knight Rider Historians Official". There is a video "Does the Convertible KITT Still Exist?" (Youtube Video).

In this video is mentioned, that George Barris used his own 1982 Trans Am to convert it into a full convertible (it still exists!) in 1985. The timeline was to short, that he did this choice. The Universial Studios owed him a car so they gave him a brand new 1984 Trans Am. He decided to convert it into a convertible too. I didn't catch the company which was doing the conversion. But it was a company, who opens cars regularly 😉

Nevertheless: George Barris decided too, to give his convertible the 4th season front bumper, added wooden parts, instead of a blackout taillight he mounted a red thing and used the caps of the prototype "SPM". He called it KITTEN.

I'd like to rebuilt KITTEN as it comes out of George Barris hands. Picture one and two is the goal I'm aming for.

The pictures wre taken of the youtube video.
