My long run "70-Dodge Charger"....a former F&F build i restored to a standart 70s-ish Charger. I didn't like the blower, big rear wheels and other stuff, so i deassamled the model and repainted it. It was nearly ready, standing in his wheels in a wonderful dark chessnutbrown with black stripes at the rear and vinyl roof - and than... the paint cracked. So i decided to repaint it again....start the whole work on the body.
It is not a perfect 70s, but im fine with it. The hood is wrong, but the original non-f&f kit is really rare and hard to find. that is the best decision i made - spare parts from Revell are not available.

Pretty cool with the steal rims and red-line tires.

I'm familiar with Supping up a muscle car, is this considered " Supping down" ? 😜🤪😂🤣. But it does look sweet either way, 👍

I see why you choose to build on this kit, you seen the price for the regular 1970 Dodge Charger R/T ? Holy Mopars Batman, cheapest I saw listed was 70 bucks plus shipping !

Thank you very much mates 🙂
Yes Bob, the prices are unbelivable. Time, that Revell reissue the 70 Charger "stock" Version.

Excellent work, Dominik! One of my all-time favorite cars. How did you do the roof? Tape?

Thank you Mike
Yes, I do my roofs with tape. I tried some other methods, but always come back to the tape. I have a wide roll of adhesive tape I only use for it.
I'm very happy with it and so far (even on very old models) it hasn't come off

This is another great build Dominik. The red looks a little pinkish in the pictures. Is that intentional?

Thanks mates , much appreciated.
Martin, the color is a kind of Hemi-Orange. Really close to that, not exact matching.
Thanks Jv, i used from this Kit the hood. But it is not "matching" . i had to shortened on th efront because of the other grill and the70s Hood has shaper edges on the "inlays"
