A short process done.
Body is painted, all parts for the undercarriage are also painted.

A faster update.
I've painted the interior on Friday and had a run on the weekend. Mounted the interior completely. And took my third hands while gluing the interior and undercarriage in place.
mates, that kit makes a lot of fun to built. Awesome fitting and details.

Nice work on the interior. Really like the dithering effect on the floor. Was that from airbrushing?

Thank you mates.
Yes Tom, it is from airbrushing. I've not taped the different sections.

Great control with the airbrush. Not sure I could do that. I'm going to have to try though as I want to do pre-shading on my Isetta.

Thanks Tom. Much appreciated.
Try it! I'm using my airbrush normally for weathering. This is my first model with two-tone painting 🙂

Thanks Bro.
In the meantime, the engine is completely built, painted and installed. Also.i painted the rims, mounted them. Perhaps the wheels will get white walls. It looks a little bit boring.
At last, I painted the trim around the windows. I used paint marker for rubber, chromepan for trim.

I like the window trim. This is so cool.

Thats the last update.
I installed the windows, the fit without gluing.
Why is the rim mounted? Testfit with the wheels and I thought "Whitewall will be a nice touch" and I didn't get them removed. So I completed in a run the body without making some pictures...and brushed wide and narrow WW but both...i didn't liked it, how it looks.
Last of all: the rubber between body and fenders is missing, after that, it is already done.

Last update before the beetle comes in the photobox for nice pictures.
I completed the beetle :-D . Mounted all chromeparts including trim with bare metal foil. No glue-fingertips or other stuff happened. Hurray!
At least, I made the rubber between fenders and body with small stripes of black "iso" tape. I'm fine with that technique. Of course, it could be painted per hand, taped and brushed... but for me it is the easiest way.

Excellent job with the tape. Looks perfect! And the bare metal looks perfect too. Very impressed indeed!
