King Ottokar's Scepter (Gillet-Herstal motorcycle)

Here's a real one... 1931!
Ok... so here's the kit I'm using.
Just the motorcycle sprue, mind you. I originally thought to use it in my Fiat 500 build... but changed my mind. It's too nice to just be in a supporting role.
Here's the main parts...
Little paint... and modification. only a single cylinder, so no more V
A little more paint...
And some more paint! I scratched up a better exhaust using a bit of wire.
And the other side...
Still a bit of work to do... it's not street legal without a headlight. 😉
Let's celebrate with a wheelie!
The base comes equipped with a wheelie stand!
Look ma, a headlight made from stretched clear sprue!
That decal on the license plate nearly killed me....
Which is why it's only on one side. 😉
Added a bit of a wash to the engine...
And we're all done!
