- Hobbyrama is probably the best known hobby store on the Northside of Brisbane. It stocks everything for all types of hobbyist from scale trains, plastic kits, diecast models and R/C of all types. Its price are comparable to online shops if you take into account the cost of shipping however they do not carry much in the way of after market as there is just to much available. The range of paints and accessories covers most of the available companies including Floquil for trains and the other popular brands. The staff are always helpful and have their own specialities. It is difficult to get to by public transport as the nearest train station is a good 5km away but there are City Council Buses that go to the near by Stafford City Shopping Centre.
