These are the pedals. They're made up of 6 parts (so far). 

Master brake cylinders. 

Building the 4.9l 12 cylinder engine. 

Engine after primer, black paint and dry-brush with XF-16. 

Dry fit of the engine...gotta keep checking the fitment with MM kits 😉 

Incredilous detail in the header. Arrows point to valves and spark plugs. 

Tried something different (for a car) and pre-shaded the cockpit. 

Airbrushed medium grey. Then mixed a bit of white with the grey and airbrushed that onto the middle of surfaces. 

Home made upright "connectors" 🙂 

And this is how they'll be bolted onto the wishbones. 

Added some PE and the clutch (inset). The latter will never be seen anymore after I bolt on the gearbox 😉

Almost completed Porsche engine, only a few parts and 2 small hoses to go

Added the exhaust manifold. 

Completed the gearbox. 

Constructed and painted the rear frame. 

Engine and gearbox are installed into the frame. 

Added exhaust pipes, anti-rollbar and some extra parts of the frame. 

Added some interior details. The wires are an extra. 

Made a heatsheald from cigarette foil. 

At the 3rd attempt I managed to make a satisfying window. 

This is what the window looks like once glued into place. 

Big moment: marriage of the front and rear end of the car!! Green arrow indicates the gear linkage.

Completed front suspension parts 

Suspension parts fixed to chassis. 

Cooling ducts for front brakes painted black and drybrushed with greytones. 

self-made footrest. Painted with several shades of grey and the weathered a bit with MIG pigments. 

Brakefluid bottles added. 

Dry-fit of most of the finished parts. 

 

Steering wheel was finished.

Dashboard was given a coat of Scale Fabric. 

Engine cover was assembled. 

Detailed electronic boxes 

Put the electronic parts on its final location. 

Assembled the radiator. 

Radiator placed at the front and hoses attached (see green arrows).  

Dashboard was finised. Added knobs and switches. Inset shows the rev-limiter etc. 

Carefully cut out the door. 

Corrected the shape of the front. The green part was removed. 

Corrected the angle of the steering wheel which was way too shallow

Both seats ready to be installed into the cockpit. 

Added seats, harness and dashboard.

Put gearbox cooling "ducts" in place. These were hollowed out first! 

Added pickup points for the doorhinges.

Inside painted several shades of gray. 

Rear-inside painted several shades of brown to mimic fibreglass. 

The 2 biggest and "most important" decals in place!!!

Spare wheel put in place. It's held there by straps attached to the frame. 

Overflow tank installed as well. 

Drive shafts were a bit of a pain as I deviated from the instructions and did NOT put them in before the bodywork. As each shaft is made up of 3 parts I managed the put them in 1-by-1. 

And a picture of the drive shaft in it's own color. 

Added a couple of details to the outside 1: lights for the startnumber, 2: rear quick releases, 3: id-light 

Wiring for all the lights added to the inside. 

Rear suspension was put into place. Green line indicates to roll-bar connector that has yet to be added. 

Overall shot with all the wheels on. 

Painted the window rims and added PE details. 

Completed right-side door. Note the cable for the light on top. 

Work-in-progress wheels. Still need to tone down the goodyear decals with matt clear. 

Added front lights. 

Rear wing was put into place using 4 rivets (see inset). 

Front light covers were installed. 

Windscreen wiper was assembled, painted and placed in it's position. 

Side windows glued into place. 

Added tape around the headlights. These are all small pieces of decal instead of the original which was from one piece.
